As I was walking back from my workout at solidcore one evening, I stumbled upon this charming little restaurant that caught my eye. It was bustling with people and had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Despite the lack of signage and website, I was intrigued by the mystery of this hidden gem. I decided to check out Noodle Pudding for a late dinner on a Saturday night, and I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant crowd and lively ambiance. The decor with string lights and fake cobwebs added a nice touch to the classic red-sauce joint vibe. The red and white checkered tablecloths and dark wood paneling made me feel right at home, and the open windows letting in the warm October breeze created a lovely setting. We started with the fritto misto and Caesar salad, both of which were delicious and got us excited for the rest of our meal. The calamari was crispy and full of squid, and the Caesar dressing on the salad was rich and creamy. The mains we ordered, including the mushroom risotto and linguine with clams, were flavorful and satisfying. The risotto was mushroom-heavy and decadent, while the linguine had a beautiful texture, though it could have used a bit more sauce. Though we were disappointed that the osso buco and braised beef cheeks were sold out, the off-menu gnocchi with sage butter sauce was a delightful surprise. The gnocchi were soft and pillowy, and the sage butter sauce was the perfect complement. The lamb sausage was the only miss of the evening, with a bitter aftertaste, but the gracious staff promptly replaced it with a delicious skate wing. I was touched by the generosity of Noodle Pudding when they not only took the sausage off the bill but also didn't charge us for the skate. The exceptional service and care we received from our server Amy and manager Anthony truly made the experience memorable. I am already looking forward to returning for those braised beef cheeks and osso buco. Five stars all around for Noodle Pudding!

We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Our server, Heather, was amazing and we loved sitting outside to people watch and soak in the restaurant activity. The cocktails were reasonably priced and they even had a $5 house wine option, which was a great deal. We started off with the calamari and it was delicious, followed by the cacio e pepe with egg and zucchini and the rigatoni. Everything was so tasty and the ambiance was perfect. We also really enjoyed the Tuesday night yoga in Brooklyn Bridge Park, which made for a romantic evening out. Just a heads up, they only accept cash so make sure to come prepared to avoid any ATM fees nearby. We loved it so much that we ended up coming back twice to make sure we had enough cash for a generous tip. Can't wait to come back!

If you're looking for a cozy Italian spot with delicious food and great service, this is the place to go! The ambiance here is warm and inviting, and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The wine and aperol spritz were perfect choices to start our meal, and the garlic bread was a hit with our group. The portions are generous, so come hungry! The lasagna was a standout dish for me, and you could really taste the freshness of the pasta. We were lucky to snag a table right away, but be prepared for a potential wait if you have a larger group. And remember, they only accept cash here, so come prepared! Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a taste of Italy in town. Can't wait to visit again!

If you're craving authentic Italian pasta, this spot is a must-visit! The atmosphere instantly transports you to Italy, and the menu has a wide variety of options to choose from. Don't miss out on their rotating specials for something unique! My group and I tried a little bit of everything, from garlic bread to calamari to bucatini and linguine. The garlic bread was a standout for me, and I ended up purchasing their Calabrian chili oil to take home. The calamari was perfectly fried and not greasy at all, a great choice for a starter. The service was top-notch, with the hostess doing a great job managing a busy evening and our waiter being attentive and friendly. Just remember to bring cash, as they don't accept cards. And if you love their chili oil as much as I did, you can take a bottle home for $20. This restaurant is perfect for date nights or impressing visitors from out of town. Keep in mind that it's a more intimate setting, so I'd recommend it for smaller groups rather than large gatherings. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I can't wait to repeat!

I recently visited Noodle Pudding and once again, it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in, you can feel the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff. We were lucky to get a table without any wait, so I recommend arriving early to avoid any crowds. The menu offers a great variety of options at reasonable prices. I was especially impressed by the $5 house wine, which was surprisingly good. The focaccia with soppresata and mozzarella was a perfect start to our meal - the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Don't forget to ask for a bit of olive oil to go with it! We opted for the salmon with escarole and beans, which is always a favorite of mine, and the chicken scarpariello in a delicious brown sauce with potatoes. Both dishes were flavorful and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed the affogatto with a biscotti - a delightful ending to a fantastic meal. Just a heads up, Noodle Pudding is cash only, so make sure to bring some with you. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be back for more.
